Hibs made their gaffe about the Hungary international on their Twitter page
Adam Bodgan was incorrectly pronounced as dead by club Hibernian on Twitter during their Premiership clash with Livingston.
The Hungary international was actually making a great save at the time, but eagle-eyed fans noticed the fatal error on Twitter.
Live tweeting the events from the game, the Hibernian account accidentally misspell does as ‘dies’.
The Tweet read: “Bogdan dies well to tip a Menga header wide after Lamie nodded towards goal from a corner.”
Bogdan, who is on loan from Liverpool, could not prevent his side from losing 2-1 as he later did concede in the game.
Goals from Shaun Byrne and then Scott Pittman gave the hosts an unassailable lead as Hibs’ unbeaten start came to an end.
The 30-year-old spent eight years at Bolton Wanderers before current Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers snapped him up on a free for the Reds in 2015.
He has since made six appearances for the club, but wanted regular game time after the arrival of Alisson Becker.
