Federer, Serena, Venus Open Play Monday At Wimbledon

The 132nd Championships at Wimbledon opens on Monday, and the big questions will be…What will Roger Federer be wearing when he walks out at 1pm on Centre Court? The Swiss’s contract with longtime sponsor Nike expired in March, and there’s been rumors we could see a new brand on Federer as early as today.

Federer, who faces Dusan Lajovic in a rematch of their second round encounter at Wimbledon last year, is seeking a 99th career title and 9th Wimbledon.

After a 2-year absence, Serena Williams returns to Wimbledon seeking an 8th title and a record-tying 24th Slam overall. Serena will meet Dutchwoman Arantxa Rus.

And at 38, Venus returns hoping to shake off the disappointment of opening round losses at her last two Slams. Venus will take on Johanna Larsson.

2017 finalist Marin Cilic is in action along with Milos Raonic, John Isner, Sam Querrey. And two matches two match are Richard Gasquet against Gael Monfils, and Grigor Dimitrov and Stan Wawrinka.

For the women, former No. 1s Caroline Wozniacki and Karolina Pliskova are on court. As are Sloane Stephens, Coco Vandeweghe and Madison Keys.
